EAM Khokh Adar Co., Ltd (“EAM Khokh Adar”) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Richbold Co., Ltd, is a Mongolian company focused on developing Khokh Adar Deposit. The Project is a copper-zinc-lead deposit located 80 km south south-east of Olgii, the administrative centre of Bayan Olgii Aimag, Mongolia. EAM Khokh Adar’s exploration spend was over $8.3 million over the period from 2004 until 2009, after which it has obtained a mining license valid for an initial term of 30 years with the possibility of extension for two consecutive terms of 20 years. The company aims to build a solvent extraction/electrowinning (SX-EW) plant with a production capacity of 2,500 tons of cathode copper annually.
